Payroll & Benefits Specialist - 14-Month FTC

A leading Global Energy business are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their collaborative Employee Experience team on a 14-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This exciting role offers the chance to manage payroll operations across a Global Remit, supporting a diverse workforce of 450+ employees, while driving optimisation and supporting benefits enhancements.

About the Role:

As part of the Employee Experience team (HR Ops, L&D, Payroll & Benefits), you'll oversee end-to-end payroll. Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables) are essential!

On the benefits side, you'll manage annual renewals, support exciting new initiatives to improve platforms, and collaborate closely with well being groups. This role is offering a variety and opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly payroll submissions across USA, EMEA & APAC.
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll reports; resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Drive optimisation of systems and assess third-party providers for improvements.
  • Administer benefits schemes such as private medical insurance, pensions, life insurance, etc., including annual renewals.
  • Support well being initiatives and quarterly group activities alongside HR colleagues.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in global payroll management across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables required).
  • Proactive mindset with an ability to bring project work and personality into the role.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a social environment.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desirable but not essential.
