My client, a large operator within hospitality arena, are currently looking to recruit a Payroll manager to oversee a team who are responsible for end-to-end payroll for upwards of 5,000 employees on a fortnightly basis.
The role will involve ensuring employees across the Group are paid accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory requirements in relation to employee pay and benefits.
Responsibilities will include payroll, pension contributions, new starters, tracking holiday pay, maternity and statutory sick pay, ensuring right to work compliance is in place and monitoring the payroll mailbox.
Duties below: -
- Processing monthly end to end payroll
- Implement improvements to payroll processes and payroll systems
- Manage month end and year end processes
- Leading a successful and continually developing payroll team
- Managing benefits and incentives payments
- Analysis of leavers, joiners etc.
- Creating reports
Experience in all of the above is essential as well as :-
- Payroll Team management experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- intermediate to advance Excel skills. Able to use functions such as Vlookupsetc.
- Knowledge of Star Payroll would be advantageous
This is an office based role Monday to Friday
