We are urgently seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join a leading renewable energy company. This temporary position requires an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, including compliance with UK payroll regulations and end-to-end payroll processing. This role is crucial for supporting our team in managing a high volume of payroll-related queries and ensuring accurate payroll delivery.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with UK laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review payroll journals and reports.
  • Handle a high volume of payroll queries efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Multitask across various payroll activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit purposes and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding pensions, benefits administration, and other related tasks.
  • Utilise Excel for data management and reporting; experience with Hibob is highly advantageous.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor or similar role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll compliance and legislation.
  • Proficient in using Excel and payroll software; experience with Hibob is preferred.
  • Excellent multitasking and organisational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of pensions and benefits administration.
