The role of the Commissioning Engineer – Smart Lighting Systems will involve:
- Commissioning Engineer position dealing with a range of smart lighting and lighting control systems
- Carry out preventative planned maintenance, commission, servicing and testing on commercial smart light systems
- Offering aftersales care / technical advice to customers and end users
- IP network configuration of routers, gateways, and user interfaces
- Completing all relevant documentation (H&S, snags, SARs & completed works)
- Identify system upgrade opportunities and liaise with KAM
The ideal applicant will be a Commissioning Engineer – Smart Lighting Systems with:
- Must have commissioning, servicing and testing experience within the smart lighting market sector
- Must have ECS card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) / CSCS Card
- 18th Edition / 19th Edition electrical qualification
- Familiar with DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)
- Knowledge and experience in configuring routers, gateways, and user interfaces for IP networks
- Comfortable preparing and maintaining various reports, including snag reports, health check reports, and system backups
- Physically demanding role, must be able to carry 10kg backpack daily to site
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- IT Literate
