An established and fast-growing social housing property company is seeking a motivated and experienced Lettings Valuer / Procurement Officer to join their team, operating across South West London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with property experience and a passion for making a tangible impact in local communities through housing.

Role Overview:This is a field-based position covering a wide and diverse area including Kingston, Surbiton, Sutton, Wandsworth, Merton, Croydon, and surrounding boroughs. You'll be based out of the company's HQ in Waterloo, with regular travel across the South West London patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and procuring private rental properties for local authority housing needs

  • Valuing and assessing properties to ensure suitability for council schemes

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing private landlords

  • Negotiating rental terms and contracts to match council and tenant requirements

  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external local authority contacts

  • Managing a varied property portfolio across a large geographical area

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in property lettings, procurement, or valuations-social housing experience highly desirable

  • Candidates from an estate agency lettings background are strongly encouraged to apply

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Target-driven, organised, and confident working independently

  • Strong local knowledge of South West London boroughs

  • Motivated by working in a meaningful, community-focused role

  • Full UK driving licence required
