Key Responsibilities:- Inspect residential, commercial, and public properties for signs of pest infestations.
- Identify and implement the most effective pest control solutions in line with legislation and best practices.
- Carry out treatments for rodents, insects, and other public health pests safely and effectively.
- Provide expert advice to residents, businesses, and internal teams on pest prevention and control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and actions taken.
- Ensure compliance with public health, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Qualified Professional: Must hold a Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control (BPCA/RSPH or equivalent).
- Experienced: Previous experience in pest control, ideally within a local authority or similar setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pest species, control methods, and relevant legislation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess situations and apply effective pest control strategies.
- Excellent Communicator: Confident in dealing with members of the public and businesses in a professional manner.
- Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for travelling to various locations within the borough.
