Are you a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding wards-based locum role in East London? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

  • Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Band 7

  • Location: East London - Major NHS Hospital

  • Duration: Minimum 6 months

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

  • Start Date: May

  • End Date: Ongoing - with strong potential for extension

What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care across busy inpatient wards. In this wards-based role, you will:

  • perform comprehensive clinical screening of inpatient drug charts

  • review and adjust medication charts to ensure safety and appropriateness

  • deliver expert advice and evidence-based pharmaceutical care

  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes

  • maintain accurate and detailed clinical records

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid GPhC registration

  • previous experience working in NHS hospital settings

  • ward-based clinical pharmacy experience

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • the ability to work independently and within an MDT

  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role is a full-time, weekday-only position (Monday-Friday) offering a long-term contract of 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service demand.
