Photography Teachers Wanted – South East London Schools
Principal Education is seeking passionate and creative Photography Teachers to join secondary schools across South East London. Whether you’re an experienced educator or a skilled photographer looking to step into teaching, we want to hear from you. These are full-time or flexible supply roles — ideal for individuals who can bring energy, imagination, and technical expertise to the classroom.
The Role:As a Photography Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that spark creativity and help students develop both practical and theoretical photography skills. You’ll guide pupils in composition, lighting, editing, and creative storytelling — helping them express their artistic vision and prepare for GCSE and A-Level success.
What You MUST Demonstrate:• Right to work in the UK
• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passion for photography, creativity, and inspiring young people
• Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite desirable)
• Flexibility, adaptability, and calmness under pressure
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Based in South East London or within a commutable distance
• £110–£200 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
