Full time locum contract
39.81 p/h Umbrella
We are recruiting a Community Occupational Therapist for our local authority client in North East London.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out complex Occupational Therapy assessments within the community.
- Complete manual handling assessments and recommend appropriate equipment.
- Advise on and implement optimal care techniques to promote independence and safety.
- Assess for and recommend housing adaptations, including minor and major works.
- Work collaboratively within an integrated locality team alongside health and social care colleagues.
- Provide professional advice and support to service users, carers, and other professionals.
Requirements:
- Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.
- At least 2 years post qualification experience.
- Experience of complex manual handling, optimal care techniques and housing adaptations.
