Part Time MSK Physio:
Location: Royal Docks, London (Physio Athletic & Sculpt & Sweat Studio)
Hours: Part-time (flexible, including evenings/weekends)
Contract: Employed or self-employed arrangement (to be discussed)
About Us
Physio Athletic is a performance-driven physiotherapy clinic based in London’s Royal Docks. We help people at every stage of their journey – from injury to peak performance. Whether it’s an ACL rehab, tendon pain, or helping a client build confidence to return to sport, our goal is always the same: to take clients beyond pain-free, and into stronger, fitter, more resilient versions of themselves.
We combine cutting-edge technology (VALD force plates, dynamometer) with hands-on treatment, strength & conditioning, and progressive coaching – bridging the gap between traditional physio and performance training.
We also work closely with our sister brand, Sculpt & Sweat Studio, a female-focused training space – meaning you’ll be part of a supportive and growing community that blends physiotherapy, rehab, and fitness.
The Role
We’re looking for a part-time physiotherapist with a strong MSK and sports rehab background, who also brings skills in sports massage and ideally experience in private practice.
Your role will involve:
- Assessing and treating clients across MSK and sports injuries
- Using objective testing tools (VALD force plates & dynamometer) to measure and track progress
- Delivering a mix of manual therapy and exercise-based rehab in our clinic and gym space
- Guiding clients confidently from rehab performance prevention
- Providing sports massage treatments where appropriate
- Supporting clients with a holistic approach (movement, recovery, lifestyle)
- Maintaining professional clinical notes and communication
Future growth: This role is part-time to begin with, but if you can build and manage a busy diary, there is real potential to grow into a full-time position as our clinic continues to expand.
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC & CSP registered physiotherapist
- Minimum 1–2 years’ MSK experience (private practice preferred over NHS)
- Competent in sports massage techniques
- Confident working in a gym/training environment – able to coach exercises clearly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate clients
- A passion for sports rehab and performance-focused physiotherapy
Bonus skills (not essential but highly valued):
- Acupuncture/dry needling qualification
- Strength & Conditioning background (UKSCA, CSCS, or similar)
- Experience working with athletes or active populations
- Familiarity with return-to-play protocols (ACL, tendon rehab, etc.)
Why Join Us?
This role is ideal if you’re looking to develop as both a clinician and coach in a modern, forward-thinking clinic. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
We offer:
- Competitive pay (discussed based on experience)
- Flexible working hours (evenings/weekends possible)
- Access to world-class testing equipment (VALD systems)
- Access to a fully equipped gym.
- Opportunity to work in both clinic & gym settings – not just a treatment room
- Ongoing mentoring and CPD support in rehab, performance, and coaching
- The chance to grow with a business expanding both in-person and online
- Potential to progress from part-time into a full-time role if you build and manage your caseload successfully
