Are you an experienced leader in the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a strong track record in DCOs and major project delivery? Our client - a leading UK-based consultancy operating at the forefront of infrastructure, planning and environmental strategy - is seeking a Director to join their Infrastructure Projects and Programmes Division.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive high-profile energy projects and contribute to national infrastructure strategy, while also potentially stepping into Business Unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects, with oversight of delivery, quality and growth.

  • Drive business development and cultivate long-term client relationships with an established network of industry leaders.

  • Shape sector strategies and contribute to company-wide planning and sustainability goals.

  • Inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams, supporting performance, development and technical excellence.

  • Manage revenue streams and report on business metrics within the Division.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, sustainability and internal policy frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • At least 15 years of relevant industry experience, including senior leadership roles.

  • A strong background in the energy sector - particularly DCOs, EIAs, and planning or consent processes.

  • Proven capability in team leadership, project delivery, and client development.

  • Chartered status (or working towards).

  • Broad understanding of the environmental and sustainability landscape, and insight into infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
