Onshore Substation Package for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom
Responsibilities
As an Onshore SS Package Manager, you will develop and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary cables team and will have accountability for the delivery of the onshore substation contracts, which will include the management of a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:
- Health, safety, environment, and quality.
- Design, supply, install, and commission.
- Programme.
- Commercial, claims and risks
- Project reporting and development of processes and procedures
- HSSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance
- Review and implementation of FEED and detailed design contracts, support main asset procurement and detail design
- Define, develop and successfully manage the interfaces with the rest of project packages
- Undertake tender document preparation, bid reviews and evaluations,
- Requirements
- Master's in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience and knowledge in execution of onshore substation projects
- Good knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation in particular CDM 2015 Regulations
- Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of onshore substation and/or HV works projects
- High level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies
