Onshore Substation Package for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom

Responsibilities

As an Onshore SS Package Manager, you will develop and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary cables team and will have accountability for the delivery of the onshore substation contracts, which will include the management of a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:

  • Health, safety, environment, and quality.
  • Design, supply, install, and commission.
  • Programme.
  • Commercial, claims and risks
  • Project reporting and development of processes and procedures
  • HSSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance
  • Review and implementation of FEED and detailed design contracts, support main asset procurement and detail design
  • Define, develop and successfully manage the interfaces with the rest of project packages
  • Undertake tender document preparation, bid reviews and evaluations,
  • Requirements
  • Master's in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience and knowledge in execution of onshore substation projects
  • Good knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation in particular CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of onshore substation and/or HV works projects
  • High level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies
