Job Title: Social Housing Plasterer
Location: Chingford and surrounding areas
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + van & fuel card
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterer to join our dedicated housing maintenance team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality plastering services to our social housing properties across Chingford and the surrounding areas.
About the Role:
As a Social Housing Plasterer, you will be undertaking a variety of plastering works, including:
- Patching and repairs
- Re-skimming
- New plasterboard installations
- Damp proofing related plastering
- Artex removal and plastering over
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
- Working collaboratively with other trades and residents
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plastering
- Proven experience as a Plasterer, ideally within a social housing or domestic setting
- Excellent knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- A strong understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- DBS check will be required upon successful offer of employment
