With a strong reputation for agility and innovation, the business offers a supportive environment where you can truly make an impact while building a long-term career in Delegated Authority.As a DA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the governance, oversight, and regulatory compliance of the Delegated Underwriting function. This is a hands-on position working closely with senior leaders and across multiple departments, giving you excellent exposure and the opportunity to influence change and drive improvements within a dynamic business.Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in enhancing and implementing delegated underwriting governance frameworks.
  • Support the monitoring of regulatory developments and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Review new Coverholder applications, conduct due diligence checks and support contract approvals.
  • Manage coverholder audits including scheduling reviewing reports and tracking audit recommendations.
  • Maintain systems such as Atlas, DCOM and DAM for delegated authority activities.
  • Produce reports and management information to support internal meetings and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and compliance teams on delegated authority matters.
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Experience you will need:
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive and solution-focused attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and investigative skills.
  • Confidence in working independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working within Delegated Authority, ideally within a Lloyd’s environment, is desirable.
