Eames Consulting is currently partnering with a leading Lloyd's insurer on the appointment of a Senior Compliance Officer. This role will be based in London and aids the Compliance Manager in driving robust compliance advisory outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Monitoring & Advisory: Conduct horizon scanning for regulatory changes, provide compliance advice (with focus on licensing and regulated activities), and support cross-border reviews and strategic projects.
- Audit, Assurance & Governance Support: Assist with audits, assurance reviews, breach management, and contribute to the annual compliance plan for the business's Lloyd's Managing Agency.
- Business Partnership & Project Involvement: Partner with underwriting and distribution teams to embed compliance within operations and support various compliance-related projects.
- Training & Culture Building: Develop and deliver compliance training, draft internal communications, and support the integration of compliance into the business's culture and daily operations.
- Collaboration & Service Excellence: Provide regulatory expertise to internal teams, foster strong working relationships across the business, and ensure high standards of compliance support and service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years working within compliance advisory within the Lloyd's market (preferable) or company market.
- Keen understanding of 2nd line oversight principles.
- Ability to work within a global team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritise time accordingly.
