Review, update, and rewrite technical specifications and employer’s requirements
Translate operational needs into clear, performance-based contract documentation
Develop aligned commercial models, cost schedules, and SoRs
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, and industry standards
Collaborate closely with operational managers, procurement, and the Housing programme team
Support procurement processes, including clarification responses and tender evaluations
Lead knowledge transfer by training staff on new contract documentation and requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong background working with TAC-1, FAC-1, JCT, and NEC contracts
Detailed understanding of the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates
Demonstrated experience creating complex specifications for housing contracts
Excellent attention to detail, document consistency, and clarity
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental collaboration skills
Familiarity with procurement best practices and post-award implementation

Desirable Qualifications:

Professional memberships such as RICS, MCIOB, or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
