Vox Network Consultants are recruiting for Technical Services Managers for one of facilities management companies ;

What you will be doing:
  • Oversee planned and unscheduled maintenance programs for relevant plant and equipment.
  • Maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, life safety, vertical transport, facade access, and general services equipment in accordance with agreed specifications.
  • Provide technical advice and act as the authorised person for technical matters.
  • Ensure contractor health & safety obligations and paperwork are reviewed (risk assessments, PPE, method statements, etc.)
  • Ensuring that all aspects of the business are conducted in accordance with all relevant statutory requirements and codes of practice.
  • Manage relationships and key interfaces with the client and the clients' key decision makers.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive FM experience managing a large portfolio of buildings (mixed-use preferred).
  • Knowledge of compliance delivery and reporting in large FM contracts.
  • Experience in auditing across corporate, healthcare, or education environments.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively at various levels
  • Qualified engineer with professional engineering qualification
  • Experience of working in complex/critical environments that have potential high risk on business impact
  • Sound understanding of Engineering Compliance and statutory compliance
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
  • Commercial awareness with budget control
  • Proven track record in leadership of critical functions
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and the ability influence change.
  • People management and understanding
  • Sound commercial understanding and acumen
  • Asbestos awareness and management
