About the Role - KS1 Class Teacher
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons to a class of eager and enthusiastic learners. You'll have full class teacher responsibilities and will work closely with your year group partner in this two-form entry school to plan, assess, and support each child's development.

Responsibilities - KS1 Class Teacher
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Key Stage 1
- Plan and deliver creative lessons aligned to the KS1 curriculum
- Assess pupils' progress, provide constructive feedback, and track attainment
- Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support whole-child development
The Ideal Candidate - KS1 Class Teacher
We are looking for a reflective and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher who can bring positivity, energy, and strong curriculum knowledge into the classroom.
You must have:
- QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- A solid understanding of phonics, early reading and writing strategies
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and willingness to be an active member of the school community
- A passion for inspiring young learners and nurturing their individual growth
