KS2 teacher - Havering

Tradewind are working with a vibrant and welcoming two-form entry school that is seeking a KS2 teacher to join their team in September.

This is a full-time position in a supportive and friendly school, where staff collaboration and pupil development are at the heart of the school's ethos. The atmosphere is calm and the classrooms are bright and engaging - providing an excellent setting for both teaching and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE
  • Experience teaching in a primary school (preferably KS2)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum

Skills:

  • Experience with formative and summative assessment
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Experience leading or supporting a subject area (desirable)
  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching for a range of abilities and needs
  • Creative and flexible teaching strategies

Compliance Requirements:

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong references covering your work since formal education
