We are working on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded two-form entry primary school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, to recruit an experienced and confident Year 1 Teacher to join their team immediately after the May half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong practitioner who is able to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact in a settled, well-resourced classroom. You’ll be joining a supportive team and working alongside a parallel class teacher to share planning and resources.
The ideal candidate will:

Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Be confident with phonics and early reading development

Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation

Be proactive, adaptable, and ready to integrate quickly into an established team

Be committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for all pupils
