One of our fantastic partner primary schools in Newham is urgently seeking an experienced SENDCo for a non-teaching role to start immediately. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing SEND provision and EHCPs across the school.

A full handover will be provided, and must be completed before Thursday 22nd May 2025.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a SENDCo or Inclusion Leader in a UK primary school

  • In-depth knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and EHCP processes

  • Experience using data to raise achievement

  • Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes

  • Skilled in working with children with complex barriers to learning

  • Confident collaborating with external agencies and the wider school community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision

  • Coordinate EHCP plans and reviews

  • Ensure compliance with statutory SEND responsibilities

  • Support and liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
