SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a nurturing and high-achieving primary school in Haringey, seeking a part-time Year 1 Teacher to join their vibrant KS1 team. This is a rare opportunity to take on a stable, long-term position in a lovely class of just 17 pupils, with no SEND needs and excellent support from colleagues and leadership.

The school is looking for a committed, confident and experienced Year 1 Teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching across KS1 every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, starting 1st September 2025. This is a 2.5 day per week role and ECTs are not eligible due to the expectations for autonomy.

Role Highlights:

What We're Looking For:

  • Experienced and qualified KS1 practitioner (QTS essential)
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum, particularly for Year 1
  • Previous Year 1 Teacher experience highly desirable
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent phonics teaching (school uses Read Write Inc)
  • Organised, communicative and able to work effectively within a job share
  • Available to commit to the role for the full academic year
  • Passionate about pupil progress and creating a positive classroom culture
