A welcoming and vibrant community primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their to join their teaching staff from October half term to teach in year 1.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small community focused learning environment.

The role

In this role you will be a full-time class teacher in year 1. You will take responsibility for planning and assessment for a range of subjects and you have a good knowledge of phonics and early maths. There is a school focus on providing challenges for mastery level pupils, and monitoring and evaluation for individual progress. You will have the benefit of working alongside established teachers and will share planning and assessment responsibilities where possible.

The school are interested in applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who have completed placements in Key stage 1. ECTs will be provided with support to complete their induction training.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience in Key Stage 1
• Be available to commit from October half term until the end of the academic year on a full time basis.
