?? The Role - Year 2 Class TeacherAs the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will guide a motivated class of pupils through their final year of Key Stage 1. The successful Year 2 Class Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging, structured, and differentiated lessons that support children's progress in core subjects, particularly in Phonics, Reading, and Writing as they prepare for KS2.

The school is looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a nurturing yet ambitious approach. �? The Ideal Year 2 Class Teacher Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 - ideally in Year 2
  • Be familiar with end-of-KS1 expectations and assessments
  • Have a solid understanding of early literacy development and phonics
  • Be an effective communicator and collaborative team player
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organisation, and behaviour management
