- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 2 teacher and wider staff team
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong classroom management and planning skills
- A nurturing, creative, and reflective teaching approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
