SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a dynamic and inclusive primary school in the heart of Islington to recruit a skilled and motivated Year 5 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator with a passion for upper Key Stage 2 and preparing pupils for the transition to Year 6 and beyond.

The school is seeking an experienced or aspiring Year 5 Teacher to lead a class of enthusiastic learners with creativity, high expectations, and strong subject knowledge. This full-time role begins in September 2025, with the potential to become a permanent opportunity for the right teacher.

Role Highlights:

  • Full-time Year 5 Teacher position in a well-resourced, two-form entry school
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the full KS2 curriculum
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy
  • Collaborate closely with the parallel Year 5 Teacher to plan lessons and moderate work

  • A qualified Year 5 Teacher (UK QTS required)
