The Behaviour Mentor role is critical. At Long Term Futures, we specalise in securing the right placement for you, focusing on stability and progression. This is a long-term role, offering stability with the genuine potential for a permanent position. You will collaborate closely with teaching staff to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Provide targeted one-on-one and small group support to pupils.
Implement effective, proactive strategies to assist children with emotional regulation.
Build strong, trusting, and professional relationships with students.
Apply de-escalation techniques calmly and efficiently during challenging moments.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience supporting children's behaviour within an educational setting.
A solid understanding of varied behaviour management and support techniques.
The essential ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
A valid enhanced DBS check is required, or the willingness to undergo the application process immediately.
