Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich - Near Woolwich Arsenal Station
Start Date: 15th January 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Daily Rate: 90 - 105 (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, close to Woolwich Arsenal Station, is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team from January. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children in Nursery and Reception with their daily learning and play-based activities.

• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver a stimulating EYFS curriculum.

• Encourage language development, social interaction, and early literacy and numeracy skills.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.

• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all pupils.

• Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or working with children in EYFS.

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning and development.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• An up-to-date DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive daily rate of 90 - 105, based on experience.
