SEND Teaching Assistant (Primary)

The role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of additional needs (incl. SEMH, communication, cognition, and sensory profiles)
- Collaborate with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored interventions
- Support children's emotional wellbeing through nurturing relationships and reflective conversations
- Encourage independence, confidence, and self-regulation in a creative and supportive way
- Contribute to classroom life, trips, and whole-school projects, including drama, outdoor learning, and art

Salary: Scale 3 or 4 (£23,000-£26,000 actual salary depending on experience)
Candidate requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND (in school or other settings)
- Creative, empathetic, and confident in building relationships with children
- Passion for inclusive education and holistic learning
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to reflect, adapt, and learn
- Degree or interest in pursuing teacher training in future (desirable, not essential)
