Role: SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Contract: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Rate: 100 - 120 per day

We are seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide 1:1 support for a young boy in Year 2 with Autism.

This rewarding role will involve:

  • Supporting the pupil with their learning and social development in class.
  • Providing daily assistance with toileting needs in a respectful and sensitive manner.
  • Helping to create a calm, structured and nurturing environment.
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and parents to ensure consistent support.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, empathetic and has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Can build positive and trusting relationships.
  • Has experience (or a strong interest) in working with children with Autism.
  • Is reliable, flexible and a team player.

SEN Teaching Assistant Standard Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally Autism.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
