Long Term Futures is currently recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to become part of a dynamic school environment situated within the Richmond upon Thames area.

This crucial support position involves specalising in the academic and emotional development of pupils, primarily in Early Years (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1). We are committed to placing candidates in consistent, long-term roles that frequently lead to permanent contracts. To streamline the hiring process, we often utilise short paid trial days instead of traditional interviews to guarantee mutual suitability.



Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering essential in-class support to young pupils.

  • Actively promoting positive conduct and socialisation skills.

  • Engaging in a collaborative partnership with class teachers regarding lesson preparation and tracking progress.



Essential Requirements

  • Established previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant is mandatory.

  • Proven background working within the Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1.

  • Possessing a naturally caring and encouraging style when guiding primary-aged pupils.

  • Excellent capacity to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
