SEND Teacher

Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term until July 2026 with potential to go permanent Sept 2026

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their specialist ARP (Additional Resource Provision). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children with additional needs in a supportive, well-resourced environment.

• Lead teaching and learning within the school's ARP, supporting pupils with a range of SEND (commonly ASD, SLCN or MLD depending on the unit)

• Plan, deliver and adapt lessons to meet pupils' individual EHCP targets

• Work closely with a skilled team of support staff, SENCO and therapists

• Use a range of strategies and interventions to support communication, social development, emotional regulation and academic progress

• Maintain strong relationships with families and external agencies

• Ensure the ARP remains a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment

• A highly inclusive primary school located in Ealing with strong community values

• Well-established ARP with excellent resources, sensory support and structured routines

• Access to CPD, specialist training and mentoring

• A caring and collaborative SEN team committed to high-quality practice

• A qualified teacher with QTS

• Experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within an ARP, special school, or small-group provision

• Strong understanding of ASD, SLCN or other common primary needs

• Ability to differentiate effectively and use personalised approaches

• A patient, resilient and nurturing practitioner with strong behaviour management

• Passion and commitment to inclusive education and helping pupils achieve their full potential
