A forward-thinking and dynamic primary school in Westminster is seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 National Curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development.

• Use a variety of assessment methods to track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment that supports effective learning and pupil well-being.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to teaching and learning across the school.

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and fostering positive relationships within the school community.

• Actively participate in the wider school community, contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

• Proven ability to assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.

• Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

• A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
