Year 5 Teacher

A forward-thinking primary school in Islington is seeking a Year 5 teacher to join their upper KS2 team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This role provides the opportunity to inspire pupils at a pivotal stage in their primary education as they prepare for their final year before transition to secondary school.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and have proven KS2 teaching experience, ideally in Year 5

• Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and inspire all pupils, including those with special educational needs

• Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and accelerate pupil progress

• Foster positive relationships with pupils and their families to support learning and wellbeing

• Be proactive, creative, and committed to continuous improvement
