The Opportunity:

A highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Lewisham is seeking to appoint a skilled and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join its team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • A relevant degree in Education or a related subject discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with prior Year 6 experience.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment and preparation strategies for end-of-year outcomes.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • A reflective and collaborative practitioner committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • An understanding of how to support a diverse range of learners, including those with additional needs.
