About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical services at a prestigious site in the City of London (EC4). This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll be expected to contribute to engineering tasks alongside managing operations. You’ll be responsible for supervising a small team consisting of one static engineer and one roving engineer, ensuring service excellence and compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day M&E operations across the site, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards.
• Provide hands-on support with engineering tasks when required.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and in-house engineers to meet project timelines and service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor and report on performance, budgets, and KPIs.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments.
• Support project delivery, including refurbishments, upgrades, and reactive maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in M&E site management within the facilities management sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope.
