Job Title: Electrical Testers – London (£32 per hour)
A leading electrical contractor is currently seeking experienced Electrical Testers to join their team on site-based projects across London.
These are site-based roles, where successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out testing, inspections, isolations, and energisations as part of large-scale electrical installations.
On occasion, Electrical Testers may also be required to oversee a small team of testers or take responsibility for controlling a designated area of work, ensuring all activities are completed safely and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing, inspection, isolation, and energisation activities on site
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and site safety requirements
- Maintain accurate test documentation and records
- Liaise with supervisors and project managers to report progress and issues
- Occasionally oversee or coordinate other testers or designated work areas
Requirements:
- Qualified and experienced Electrical Tester (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent preferred)
- Strong understanding of BS7671 wiring regulations
- Experience in site-based testing within commercial or industrial environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
Pay & Package:
- £32 per hour CIS - You can also look at a PAYE rateÂ
