Job Description:
As an A6 Cantilever Tower Technician, you will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of cantilever scaffold systems. You will work alongside a team of professionals to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect, modify, and dismantle A6 Cantilever Tower systems in accordance with PASMA standards and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, especially with regard to working at height.
- Carry out risk assessments and follow safe working practices on-site.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout all phases of the scaffolding process.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Inspect scaffolds regularly to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
Key Requirements:
- PASMA A6 Cantilever Tower Certification is essential.
- Proven experience working with cantilever scaffolds or similar scaffolding systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially in relation to scaffolding and working at height.
- Ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans, blueprints, and drawings.
- CSCS card
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward safety and quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role or as a team leader.
- Additional certifications such as First Aid, Harness Awareness, or Working at Height would be advantageous.
- Driving license and own transport.
