Requirements:

Qualifications/Skills needed consist of the below -

NVQ Level 3 Equivalent or Higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance supervisory or leadership role.

Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Lead M&E Engineer to look after a commercial contract in London's West End. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Lead Engineer to their team.


Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.

Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.

Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.


Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer)

The ideal candidate has bundles of experience leading a team and within the facilities maintenance industry.
