Established in 2021 Benjamin's Workshop Ltd is a dynamic bespoke cabinetry joinery company based in Bethnal Green E2. In three years, the company has grown a full-time team of 1 to 12, and has swiftly become established amongst the most in-demand workshops in London.

The company provides bespoke fitted furniture to residential and commercial projects across London. Primarily we supply high-end residential joinery packages. Our client base consists of professionals; established designers, main contractors - as well as end users.

Overview

If you have previously worked in a joinery workshop, are proactive and practical, and take satisfaction from getting everything ticking along smoothly - this could be the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a fantastic Workshop Supervisor, who, working closely with our Production Manager, will perform an essential role in the smooth running of the company's workshop, and site operations.

About the role:

  • Workshop - Oversee smooth running of the workshop facility. Procure consumables. Arrange maintenance. Ensure quality control is met ahead of delivery and all items wrapped and labelled correctly before being sent out to site. Working closely with our Project Manager to ensure projects are complete and on schedule.
  • Deliveries - Prepare, book and oversee joinery deliveries, attending site with delivery when appropriate. Communicate delivery details with clients and site managers.
  • Installer support - Provide workshop point of contact for on-site installers. Prepare and send site kits. Send ad hoc supplies.
  • Finishing support - Assist the Spray Finisher by completing finishing tasks when required, including sanding, masking, staining and oiling.
  • Desirable - competent on the panel saw

About you:

  • Good understanding of joinery production
  • Great organisation and time management
  • Fit, healthy and happy with physical work
  • Experience of joinery finishing prep; filling, sanding,
  • Skilful and enthusiastic written and verbal communicator
  • Team orientated
  • Friendly demeanour and positive, problem-solving, attitude
  • Desirable - competent on the panel saw
