Role Overview:We are seeking skilled professionals to join our clients global team as Project/Program Managers with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Assurance. These roles are pivotal in helping drive business change through the scoping, design, and execution of various workstreams, working closely with senior leadership. The successful candidates will play an integral part in embedding governance best practices and ensuring effective risk management across different business functions.This opportunity offers the chance to apply your experience in compliance, policy development, and governance within a dynamic environment, helping to shape and ensure the effectiveness of key risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scoping, design, and execution of risk management, audit, and data governance workstreams.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices and frameworks around governance, risk management, and assurance.
  • Engage cross-border teams and internal stakeholders to develop targeted governance, risk, and assurance deliverables.
  • Develop detailed, data-driven narratives to inform senior leadership and boards on risk levels, mitigation strategies, and impacts.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, providing recommendations to close gaps or weaknesses identified.
  • Create, revise, and embed policies, procedures, and governance documents across teams.
  • Act as an ambassador for the three lines of defence model, helping define roles and responsibilities within businesses.

Roles Available (Three Scopes):

  1. Risk Management: Risk frameworks, risk identification, assessment, and reporting; Key Risk Indicators (KRIs); risk appetite and tolerance.
  2. Audit & Assurance: Audit procedures, internal control testing, control design, process improvement reviews, and project assurance.
  3. Data Governance: Data operating model, data strategy, data lineage, data quality, and ensuring proper data governance standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in audit, advisory, consulting, or related roles, with a focus on risk management, governance, or data.
  • Demonstrable expertise in at least one of the following functional areas:
  • Risk Management
  • Audit & Assurance
  • Governance
  • Data Governance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing complex data and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead change and deliver on strategic initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree, MBA, or professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, etc.).
  • Experience in global programs spanning multiple jurisdictional requirements.
  • Ability to multitask in a technical and fast-paced environment, demonstrating leadership in driving results.What We're Looking For:
    • Experience: We're looking for candidates with a background in generalist compliance roles, particularly those experienced with regulatory mapping, policy development, and embedding compliance frameworks. Your previous experience might come from various sectors, including consultancy, law firms, or professional services firms.
    • Skills: Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working with senior stakeholders to develop and execute governance strategies, risk frameworks, and compliance policies.
