Electrical Project Coordinator – Healthcare Estates
Central London | £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits | Permanent

We are recruiting for an Electrical Project Coordinator to join a leading global facilities services provider on a major London healthcare contract. This is a key role supporting the delivery of a £2 million emergency lighting roll-out across a live hospital estate.

You'll act as the bridge between the FM project team and NHS stakeholders, ensuring that all works are carefully coordinated, safely delivered, and communicated with sensitivity in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of emergency lighting upgrades across acute hospital sites
  • Engage with NHS staff, ward leaders, and Trust representatives to plan works and mitigate disruption
  • Communicate project timelines, access requirements, and operational implications to clinical teams
  • Mediate between contractors and ward-level stakeholders in live patient environments
  • Oversee verification and enabling works including socket labelling and asset identification
  • Assist with technical documentation, RAMS, permits, and schedule tracking
  • Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare-specific standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Background in M&E, technical FM, or maintenance, with a clear electrical bias
  • Comfortable working in sensitive, live environments — ideally with prior healthcare or NHS experience
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Qualified electrically (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident managing multiple stakeholders
