About the Role
We're working exclusively with a high-end residential AV specialist based in London who are seeking a talented Audio Visual Lead Engineer ready to take the next step into project management. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone with hands-on installation experience and a proven ability to lead teams, who's now looking to transition into a full-time Project Manager position.
The Company
Our client designs and delivers bespoke home automation, multi-room audio, and luxury home cinema systems for some of the most prestigious properties in London and the South East. With a reputation for technical excellence and flawless execution, they're expanding their team to meet growing demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site AV installations across high-end residential projects
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Support procurement and logistics coordination
- Ensure installations meet technical specifications and aesthetic standards
- Contribute to project handovers and client training sessions
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in residential AV installation (Crestron, Control4, Lutron, etc.)
- Experience leading teams or managing site-based activities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Keen interest in progressing into full-time project management
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS/CSCS card and relevant certifications (desirable)
