Actively recruiting for a Project Manager to join a well established principal contractor with a strong track record of delivering high quality construction projects across London and the South East. This Project Manager will join an existing team for a large scale fit out scheme in joint venture with a tier 1 Principal contractor. This role requires a proactive individual who can bring enthusiasm with the very best leadership.
The Role
As The Project Manager you will be number one on site and responsible for managing the day-to- day site operations on a complex, high value scheme. Reporting into the Construction Director and leading a team of Site Managers in order to deliver the scheme on time and within budget. As you will be partnered with a Tier 1 Principal contractor there are extra processes and paperwork required so the ideal candidate will be able to take a hands on approach to this. A great deal of resilience, proactive planning and forecasting of works is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will adopt an adaptable and dynamic approach to their work.
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience as a Project Manager either with a Principal or subcontractor managing fit-out schemes up to 10million.
- Strong technical construction knowledge and leadership ability
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Experience of delivering high-spec residential, commercial or mixed use projects
- Ability to resolve challenges effectively and proactively
- Be proactive in your approach to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to correctly and with enthusiasm.
