A leading global property and real estate consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing Project & Development Services team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and driven Senior Project Manager to take a leading role in the delivery of major construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a diverse portfolio - including residential, education, leisure, and public sector schemes.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, client liaison, and leadership of internal teams, ensuring successful outcomes in line with programme, cost and quality targets. You will join a high-performing team of Project Managers at varying levels and will play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues and supporting strategic team growth.
With a strong secured pipeline and continued investment in staff development, this role offers long-term progression opportunities for the right Senior Project Manager. The position is hybrid, requiring office and site attendance, with up to two days working from home per week.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Leading delivery of new build, refurbishment and redevelopment projects
- Acting as the main client interface and managing stakeholder relationships
- Overseeing project planning, risk, procurement and cost management
- Supporting junior Project Managers and promoting best practice
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Demonstrable track record of managing large-scale, complex construction projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, reporting and communication skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team leadership and project delivery
