An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in London. This position is ideal for a Senior Project Manager who is RICS chartered and looking to take a leading role in the delivery of high-profile housing development schemes.

With a strong pipeline of residential projects, this consultancy is urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive consultant-side experience within the housing development sector and be comfortable working in a dynamic, office-based environment. The successful Senior Project Manager will be expected to attend the office five days a week during a three-month probation period, reducing to a minimum of three days thereafter.



The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of residential development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will act as the client's representative, liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, local authorities, and contractors.

You'll be working on a diverse portfolio of housing projects, providing strategic advice, coordinating project teams, managing risk and ensuring quality throughout each stage. This is a client-facing role, and you will be expected to provide leadership and clear direction to junior members of the team while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key partners.



The Senior Project Manager

  • MRICS qualified - essential

  • Around 10 years' experience in project management

  • Strong background working on the consultancy side

  • Proven experience managing housing or residential development projects

  • Comfortable with a structured office-based working policy (5 days in office for the first 3 months, then 3 days/week minimum)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
