A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Berkshire is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and driven Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile refurbishment and rekit projects within the defence and secure estates sector.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex and technical projects across production, laboratory and scientific facilities. This consultancy is known for delivering exceptional built environment solutions and offers exposure to a wide variety of work, with strong support for career development and progression.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for managing projects at all stages, from initial design through to successful completion. You will be working closely with internal teams and stakeholders including planners, engineers, and commercial managers, particularly across projects requiring mechanical and electrical installations and HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing refurbishment and rekit projects across secure and technical facilities
Driving project performance, quality, and programme delivery
Leading on NEC contract administration and reporting
Preparing project execution plans, risk registers and strategic reports
Monitoring costs, progress and performance across RIBA stages
Ensuring compliance with all client and regulatory requirements

Due to the nature of the work, the Senior Project Manager must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

The Senior Project Manager

Ideally the Senior Project Manager will have:

Proven experience in managing projects across technical or secure environments
Excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC and specialist building services
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience delivering across all RIBA stages
Eligibility for UK security clearance
