Assistant Property Manager

My client is looking for a motivated and customer-centric individual to join their growing team as an Assistant Property Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your property management career by providing vital support to the Property Manager and Estate Manager in the efficient and effective management of a diverse property portfolio, with a strong focus on achieving client targets and delivering outstanding service.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of build to rent and the property industry and experience in performing a range of housing management, including voids, signs ups, estate inspections and reporting repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Estate Manager with all property management duties, including void management, lease renewals, and the coordination of inventory and check-out processes.
  • Support the Property Manager in achieving and exceeding client targets as defined by contractual KPIs.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, providing efficient and effective support.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing resident correspondence.
  • Progress and manage all tenant repairs, accurately logging them within the designated system.
  • Conduct property inspection visits and pre-check-out inspections as required.
  • Support the Property Manager with tenancy review paperwork and general tenancy administration.
  • Cultivate positive and effective relationships, ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of Build to Rent, residential lettings, and the property industry.
  • Proficient in all aspects of housing management: voids, sign-ups, inspections, and repair reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong diary management.
  • Advanced IT skills (Word & Excel).
