Responsibilities
- Respond within set timescales to requests from the SEND Team for statutory assessments of special educational needs for Waltham Forest children and young people.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological advice to support the statutory process.
- Conduct robust, high-quality, and comprehensive assessments of children and young people to identify and assess their special and developmental needs.
- Advise on suitable and effective provision while considering educational, family, and community contexts.
- Professional qualification as an Educational Psychologist recognized by the British Psychological and Health Care Professional Council.
- Effective administrative skills.
- Proficiency in IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
