The Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager: Community Engagement to drive and deliver our community engagement activities and strengthen the Westway Trust’s position within North Kensington. In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop impactful initiatives that foster strong relationships between the Trust and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the Trust’s community engagement activities in line with our mission and Horizon Plan.
  • Oversee the development of strategic partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders.
  • Measure the impact of community engagement and ensure feedback is integrated into the Trust’s work.
  • Build and manage a diverse range of community forums and networks to ensure inclusive dialogue.
  • Engage with tenants to ensure their social impact is recognised and reported.
  • Play an active role in stakeholder engagement and work towards capacity building and innovation.
  • Manage the programming and operation of community spaces, including 2 Thorpe Close.
  • Line manage a dedicated team, providing support and development to maximise performance.
  • Report on community engagement progress to the Executive Team and Board, attending meetings as required.
  • Collaborate on initiatives related to social justice, anti-racism, and the Trust’s values.
